9901.101 Mr. Rumsfeld has stated that there is difficulty hiring, firing and problems with responsive discipline. I work at a medical facility that has held job fairs and was able to hire on the spot. Why can’t this be implemented to all of DoD? Firing and disciplining an employee are not difficult things to do as long as a supervisor/manager properly communicates and counsels an employee. The union does not stand in the way of removing an employee under these circumstances.
