Comments:
Currently as a Physical Security Specialist (0080 series) we have a specific job description that varies from other installations. Other installations in the Army have the same personnel ranging in GS grade from GS-07 to GS-11 with varying job descriptions. Once the pay banding starts and we are placed into our starting points in the bands will our job descriptions be standardized across the whole system? Or will standard job descriptions be implemented prior to the start of NSPS? It Is unfair that I as a GS-09/07 and the GS-11/02 at another installation are placed into our respective pay bands at different levels although we have the now standardized job description? Somehow there does not appear to be any justice in this system for that reason.
