To whom it may concern, if any! I’m writing in concern of the new National Security Personnel System (NSPS) or as I reviewed it as the new Dictatorship Insecurity Personnel System (DIPS)! I’ve been a loyal Federal worker for the past twenty-six years along with the rest of my fellow workers. Now with this new system, you would prefere to remove all that I have worked for and replace it with a system that will take away all my rights and privileges earned over the years. We will be reversing back 60 year of progress. If the NSPS is implemented and all of our rights are removed, there will be hundreds, if not thousands of congressional complies to answer! Please do not implement the NSPS Regulations that reduce my personal rights and security. We deserve better treatment than a non-Union negotiated NSPS. This is what we receive with all the dedicated and hard work in support of this county. DOD work force work around the clock in support of the War Fighters through Desert Shield/Desert Strom, Bosnia, Afghanistan and now Iraqi Freedom. It is our DOD workforce that comprises the backbone of this Nation National Security. Our government leaders should be the first to recognize this fact and support our workers. Not treat us as if we were the Iraqi prisoner! We already are treated and feel like we are second-class citizens. We may in the future third class citizen if we get lucky under this system. As of 2003, our Sons, Daughters, Brother’s, Sister’s, Uncle’s, Aunt’s, Father’s and Yes Mother’s too, have and are still in Iraq fighting for freedom Independence and human right’s. Many of them are DOD personnel in Iraq serving as Army Reserve and National Guards Reserves. We have overthrown a dictatorship controlled county in Iraq and you are creating one here with NSPS in the United State of America. Will this be what our soldier’s and fellow workers returning have to look forwarded too???? I’m a Viet Nam Vet; I service my county with honor and loyalty to the best of my ability. I was supported by best DOD work force in the world, the Federal worker. We were supported around the clock by making sure we had what was required to fight the War. On my return from Viet Nam back to the states, I was look upon as a child killer and treated as a disgrace to county. I felt dishonored and disgraced as a soldier returning from War and had to remove my uniform and change into civilian cloths to feel secure as I traveled home. I felt unsupported and betrayed by the America people then. Now with this new NSPS, the very government I fought for and have supported all these years is betraying all us DOD Federal workers. As you many very know by now, I’m deeply against implementing NSPS. THAN YOU FOR WHAT!!!
