I fought to defend this country risking my life in its defense to protect what I consider to be a democratic society. Your proposed changes, while I know you won't admit it, are repressive, regressive, and an insult to the intelligence of any human being. These regulations create a "company union" which is currently not allowed in the private sector but is what you're proposing. I invite you to study unions and collective bargaining in non-democratic countries and see the similiarity between what they have and what your proposing. Communist countrys like China, Cuba, and Iran allow minimum protection to its workers and permit company unions having, in my opinion, far more transparency that your proposal will allow civil service workers. I think it goes without saying that you should be ashamed of yourself for even proposing these regulatory changes. I know Im having second thoughts about my service to this country if you can get away with it. It makes my blood boil to think that I could have died in defense of people who now propose such limitations on the freedoms or workers.
