Hiring/Staffing I would like to suggest that enforcing the experience and education requirements for General Schedule positions would eliminate a lot of duplication of effort that this regulation is creating. For example, it has been my experience that people at the GS-3 and above lack education comperable to the position. It is a poor situation that allows those that have worked hard for their eduction to be hired and promoted behind lesser educated/experienced personnel. I'm sure that all of us are aware of the good ole boy/girl, fraternal, religious, nepotism, etc. situations that exist, but those are some of the problem areas that need to be addressed. I realize that a lot of situations can't be proven, but a lot can if you look.
