I am very dismayed with NSPS. I still don't believe there is anything wrong with the system currently in place. The GS pay scale is one of the good perks of federal employment that is being taken away for what? This is going to be very demoralizing to the DOD workforce. I don't know anyone I work with who is not always looking forward to getting a step increase. Instead of the goverment moving to private sector practices such as pay for performance and firing at will, the private sector should be pushed to be like the current GS pay system and current personnel system for most federal employees which includes some worker protections and the perks as I mentioned such as step increases. I do not see how the worker rights we have jeopardize national security. Please put a stop to this NSPS and don't take away our civil service protections, union rights, GS pay system or any other rights we currently enjoy. I don't understand the war against federal employees. We do our job the best we can, but yet war has been declared against us. How can any system that takes away rights be good?
