Our base was chosen to be included in Spiral 1 of NSPS because if the new system can work at our corrupt location, it should be able to work anywhere. A slide from the NSPS site states that RATINGS REFLECT MEANINGFUL DISTINCTIONS IN EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE (NO FORCED DISTRIBUTION OR QUOTAS). How can the new system stop something we have been told does not exist and is already against the law? The U. S. Justice Department recently was forced to settle a reverse discrimination lawsuit at our base. Management was forced to admit that for the past 20 years a race/sex appraisal quota system was in effect. This policy was forced on our base by Air Force Headquarters and the Pentagon. Despite overwhelming evidence on file as public record at the Macon Federal Courthouse, the AF continues to deny any wrongdoing. No perceivable change can be seen or probably ever will be seen. It is business as usual. Now the same corrupt management and their lieutenants are going to determine your pay and be able to fire people. During the 18 month discovery phase of this reverse discrimination lawsuit, investigation revealed that numerous federal laws had been broken by upper management at our base with no consequences for these illegal actions. Perjury and obstruction of justice took place with no punishment of the offenders. Both civilian and military leadership directed this illegal policy. Our workforce remained silent as these laws were broken around them for fear of retaliation, knowing what management could do to them via this new personnel system. Our lower management condoned this illegal activity by their silence. You have to understand that lying and cheating is certainly one of the skills of management at our base. A new system can not work in a place that has no management accountability. I guess the AF can send their managers to HOW NOT TO CHEAT YOUR EMPLOYEES 101 school or possibly HOW TO DECEIVE EMPLOYEES AND NOT GET CAUGHT school. Look for a more demoralized workforce. In the past to improve morale we usually have a government picnic. Word has it that we just had another suicide on base. That’s four in the last couple of months and one had filed a grievance over management practices. So much for People Is Our Greatest Asset. Also look for reporting of Fraud, Waste, and Abuse to decrease throughout the government. People will not be willing to jeopardize their job. And now just look at the latest scandal at OSC. Are they not there to protect whistleblowers? Only goes to show you what happens when management has no fear. Imagine what will happened with their new god-like NSPS power.
