Comments:
I wish to to express my concerns about the new DOD rules. I am frustrated that that the proposals in the Federal Register of 2-14-05 are mistreating the employees who work hard and are committed. This will hurt the agency's mission and this will destroy objectivity in the way workers are paid, evaluated , promoted, fired, scheduled and treated by creating a system in which federal managers are influenced by favoritism rather that serving the civil concerns of the American people. Pay raises, pay for performance, schedules and overtime and civilian deployment are all under attack and are threatening worker's basic rights. I urge you to force DOD to rethink their proposals that will change the issues just mentioned. Work rules are needed to preserve fairness, serve the American people and respect the rights of Defense Department workers.
