(Subpart C) 9901.301 to.373 (Subpart D) 9901.401 to .409 The implementation of 'pay bands' with no specific guidelines and monetary figures leaves the entire system open to whatever the DOD (or Rumsfeld) wants to pay us for our labor and service. This could even go down to the Minimum Wage, which would place all of us in the same category as Wal-Mart employees. Performance ratings and pay raises determined solely by your department manager (boss) probably will depend more on how well that he likes you and how much that you 'suck up'. Two people doing the exact same job, with the same qualifications and performance could receive vastly different ratings based entirely on personality.
