I am a Wright Patt. AFB fire fighter, who served four years in the Air Force for my country, to include two tours over seas in the desert away from my family, and i feel like i have just been slapped in the face by my countries leadership. In section 9901.601-611 the dod has the right to lay off at will whoever they want, totally ignoring the fact that i served my country and earned those veterans points and the govt. wonders why they can't get people to enlist, well it will be even harder when the next generation learns there is no longer an incentive to join the military. And what is this under the same section about employees can be deployed over seas? Maybe you missed the fact that the draft is no longer in effect and that this use to be a free country. I especially like the section [9901.910] that just so happens to benefit the top most leadership of our country, contracting out, gee i think that was tried in the first term and now in the second term just in disguise. I am a proud memeber of the International Association of Fire Fighters and you people have taken everything that we have worked for and just threw it away, it's obvious that the people who are behind this scandal have never worked an honest day in their lives and never will. One thing is clear though, you will not be able to keep a work force with this dictatorship like scandal.
