How does this effect my ability to get increased pay since I don't know what the upper end of the pay band is? What about those people who were a higher grade, but after a spouse PCS were hired at a lower grade, higher step. Example, I was a GS-11 who moved and could only find a GS-09 step 10 position. Unfortunately, I have remained there for 5 years, frozen with no step increase (No one knew my capabilities, as I moved from one service to another - and have to start credibility all over again). Please tell me there may be some movement, however slight with the new pay banding? I feel lost in the system and age is against me.
