Section 9901.409 – Rating and rewarding performance –The NSPS performance management system will establish a multi-level rating system. A rating of record will be used as a basis for a pay determination, determining RIF retention standing, and such other action that DoD considers appropriate. An appropriate rating official will communicate the rating and number of shares to the employee prior to payout. None of this is defined to date, so it is impossible to comment or evaluate these provisions.
