Comments:
Why should we change the way our pay system works. The saying if its not broken, why fix it goes here. Employees will no longer have any incentive to work to hard if they are not compensated. That is why we work for the government. If your boss does not like you, he or she can make your work environment miserable. What recourse will we have if they end civil service protections! None. I believe that many people will not even consider working for the government if this new pay band becomes effective. I have evey heard now that people cannot even afford to work for the government because they can make more money working in private industry. This will become more so if Bush has his way.
