This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard as of late and does not leave the federal employee with much after everything has been taken away. I will admit some people do not deserve pay raises but I am absolutely against pay banding. It takes on supervisor that feels you are not a team player or not like you personally and you can kiss your career good bye. One person can make your life miserable and that is not fair especially for those who work hard to build a career for our government. I do not feel this NSPS is fair to government employees and there were other ways to improve the system rather then take most of our rights away. The people that came up with this idea apparently have not been in a situation where your job was all you had. I say no to NSPS and let us figure out a better way to increase employee satisfaction rather then discourage it. Secondly, what does our personnel system has to do with National Security? I vote you study these contractors and the money they make and let them live by this system and increase our salaries because we do more work and deserve better pay. I am in Iraq and pay half my salary in taxes when the contractors are tax-free for the first $80,000. How is that fair? This is just not a great idea and I came to Baghdad by choice and would not have it any other way to but to take a federal employee and make them go against their own will is not a good idea. It is not enough words for me to articulate how I feel about this system. There is a myriad of problems with NSPS and I vote no to NSPS.
