It has been stated that our great country will not go down to the hands of a foreign enemy, but will be taken down slowly by the leaders of this country who only have their own creedy needs on their minds. This downfall will begin with the weakening of the DoD in this country. NSPS will not make the DoD better, it is the beginning of the end of a great functioning organization that has fought many battles over the years and has won them all. The DoD has areas that can be improved, but it is asinine thinking to throw out a system that has been functioning and getting the job done, for an untested, unwanted system (85-90% against it doesn't send a message?). The ones driving this train of destruction won't be the ones harmed; it will be those that are left to try and uphold a great DoD institution that will have their lives changed for the worse. Policy makers aren't forward-thinkers, they're just policy makers for today, who can't see beyond their next paycheck.
