It is with great concern that I have towards the NSPS system and its impact on the numerous lives within the Civilian Workforce of the Federal Government. The Government was built on the backbone and sweat of Civilian workers. We grieve the fact that we are being dealt a full house of disloyalty and un-thankfulness for this support. When a system like NSPS is imposed upon workers, the management must be scrutinized to the highest regards due to the enormous negative impact that will come out of the management to employee issues. We as civilian workers are being subjected to a change that we seemingly have no control over the outcome. Sometimes one must put themselves in the shoes of the people being impacted by the adverse measure in order to feel the full impact. We can talk about it endlessly to no end. It is easy to pick up a pin but harder to walk in someone else's shoes of the life that that stroke of the pin impacts. It is my hope and pray that the right thing will be done to the civilian workforce because it is right and not because it is what a group of folks have gotten together and decided that it would be a good idea. Finally, just imagine yourself in the position that the civilian workers are in at the point where most are thinking retirement and are within 1 to 2 years of being there. It has to be an overwhelming challenge for them.
