Performance Management - It is understood that every employee has the right to grieve decisions of management. With that said, the current system does not allow management to show as much favoritism as the new NSPS will. Under the current system teamwork is easily accomplished, as performance is measured by the individuals’ ability to perform as a team member. Under NSPS, identified performance by supervisor is what pay raises and promotions are governed by, there by destroying the concept of teamwork and promoting the concept of individualism in the teaming environment. This is bad for business and bad for the country.
