March 2005 I've read the NSPS web page, under Performance Management that “all employees will receive specific operational training prior to being converted into the new system.” According to my supervisor, beginning in July 2005 (4 months away) my office begins the news NS Personnel System. I have not received, nor heard, nor seen any information on NSPS training for myself, others, or the managers in the Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District office. And there is the possibility of a RIF at that this district. I having this impression that under the NSPS, come July/August 2005, many Corps people could be let go (older, senior, unlikables to management, “the people labeled non-performers and non-producers,”) without warning. I’m too worried about this major change without the proper training in place.
