As a 31 yr. dod employee I truly feel this is a step backwards. Our country was founded with various wars, or union battles all in the name of freedom or civil rights. We do not deserve to be totally governed by a military style dictatorship. Our military service is a voulanteer organization. I filled out an application to work for dod after my 5yr tenure during the Vietnam era. Our livelyhood must not be determined by a governing force that has no compassion for their work force. Money is tight, fine, so is mine with 5 daughters. We are, in my opinion, being told, how, when, where,& why,by a person or persons working with family mega bucks. We are told conservation & proper spending by a force of those who never need to worry. 911 attacks were the most destructive & morale breaking events in history that I have ever witnessed. We as a country cannot allow our governing bodies use this excuse to drive us back, & destroy all the blood, sweat, tears,& intentions of those before us. Stand up America, use your pens, pencils, keyboards, & votes as your weapons to change the minds of those who think this n.s.p.s. is the way.
