I am a Federal Employee of 25 years. I am opposed to the new proposed rule making. One of the reasons I stayed with the government for so long is we get a cost of living raise every year and a step increase after being in a grade for so long. The new proposed rule making is a slap in the Federal Employee's face. We won't get raises unless their is money in the budget. As of now the president gives us one every year. What am I supposed to do now that I have 25 years in you should not change it for the people that have been here for a long time. Also everyone knows this new way could let supervisors play favorites.
