Under the propsosed NPS system, I am refusing to sign my name and information due to the retalition that would be forthcoming by DOD management, Sec.of Defense, and the President. The proposed NPS, in what I have read, violates all the Amercian peoples rights who at the present time work for the DOD, I can also see where, when this is done, it will spread over to private industry. The government is turning into a despotic government. attempting to take our retirement away from us, by attempting to raise the retirement age, basicly taking all the rights away from the Federal Civil Servent, starting with the DoD. No where in the proposed NPS have I seen anything dealing with sick leave, annual leave, or jury duty. It is of a real concern that what I have read deals with, management can do this and that, and the rights of the employee are ignored. I would also like to know who or what gives the Sec. of Defense and the President the power to waive laws they no longer want, and keep the ones that fit their agenda. That is like telling a police officer that you ran the stop sign because you don' t like the law that says you have to stop at a stop sign. This kind of action on the part of the President and Sec. of Defense must be stopped.
