The new proposed system seems to be in favor of those employees who have a genuine desire to perform and perform well. It will improve upon the present system only if the 'good ole boy' method is deleted. It is refreshing to think that you will be awarded for your efforts. I'm not clear on the 'broad range' of the pay bands. An example in the explanations would have been a tremendous help in understanding the width of the 'bands." I think the pay portions could have been explained further: the step-increases verses the bands.
