I'm concerned that Vets will be denied their RIF rights. Due to a miscoding by USAFA Civilian Personnel, I have to file an EEO complaint because the code will not reflect the proper skill banning. Past USAFA managers assigned me as an Organization Web Master for a period of 5 years (each of the last 5 civilian appraisals, under remarks, mentioned what an excellent job I did establishing and managing web pages). They felt justified because the work was assigned under additional duties. One manager signed a statement giving me 50% of the work (for the entire year) establishing and maintaining web pages. The other manager signed a statement stating I did 40% of entire year's worth of work, dedicated to establishing and maintain web pages. The rules established as to what kind of pay will be established for someone like me (who was paid as a secretary and forced to work as a Web Master w/no pay or skill codes in the personnel system). I didn't mind the gaining technical skills (it was the denial of specific skill codes by USAFA DPC, which made my work at USAFA hard to take). They stole my dignity and hope to get promoted in another pay field. Have a great day.
