I have a few concerns for NSPS. 1. When I was hired, I was told that I would go from gs7 to gs12 in 2.5 years. And after those 2.5 years, that I would received step raises after certain time periods. NSPS need to make sure that I am paid at least what I was told I would make when I was hired on. I should be paid at least my target paid grade of gs12 in 2.5 years. I should also be paid at least the same salary as what I was told when I was hired on (including step raises). If NSPS wants to pay me more that is okay, but it is not okay to be paid less than what I was told when I was hired on. 2. There needs to be a way to try to limit favortism. Make sure supervisors are giving raises to the people who are actually doing the best work and not playing favorites. There should be an anonymous form that employees get to fill out reviewing their supervisor's performance. Employees should be able to fill out a form about whether or not they feel their supervisor was fair in their performance reviews. 3. There should not be a limited # of raises available for each person in the office. The supervisor should not be forced to grade his employees on a bell curve. If everyone in the office is working hard, the boss should not be forced to only give raises to a few employees. If everyone is working hard the boss should be allowed to give everyone a good review. There should not be a quota that says the boss can only give the top employees high scores.
