I understand the need for more flexibility to get things done. My concern is that the checks and balances are being removed too much. The government should not immitate corporations in the way employees are treated. The government should rather strive to set the highest standards in hopes of attracting and keeping the best workers. Reducing employee protections only increases turnover potentials and the ultimate destination of all of this is weaker employee position and less stability, (with the exception of clicks that are sure to occur; clicks = divisions; divisions = conflict; conflict = inefficiency and instability - especially without the fair means to resolve those conflicts). I don't KNOW that employee positions are weakened by NSPS yet, but what I've heard from the union says it will be weakened in time. I haven't had any problems in the past and don't anticipate any in the future. I hope my expectations are correct.
