To begin, in general, the entire NSPS. Although National Security and hinderance of the govenment to function were identified as the major reasons for this NSPS, you must notice that DoD has not identied any incidents where the employees, or their exclusive representatives, have ever breached national security or fail to perform with loyalty, dedication, honorably, timely. We have served and supported our troop in outstanding manners. Most, if not all, of our unions immediately notified management that we were ready, willing, and able, to work with them following the imfamous 9/11 tragedies. To change just to make it easier for managers to mistreat employees, deprive employees (and their exclusive represetatives) of the rights that many of our fore parents died for is very dangeous. If the roof leaks on the house, you simply repair leak, not totally demonish the house and build a new one. Why not identify instances where national security was breached, work was slowed down, and management could not complete a mission, and lets address them, cooperatively? Even the DoD's Fact and Myths site only told part of the truth, if the NSPS is so great why not print the entire sections used to support their facts. Federal employees are some of the most supporters of the military in this country. I have not heard of one employee who refused to do whatever it took to provide support to our troops. Let the Secretary provide documentation demostrating how taking away employees and union rights will improve the employees' morale, productivity, and loyalty.
