DoD NSPS Staff, Six days is insufficient time to allow comments!! I received this link on 10 March 2005, with a suspense of 16 March 2005. Give us a break here - talk about force-feeding the single biggest attack on federal labor in history!! Having said that, looking at the politics leading up to this legislation, I would love to see a study that truly identifies the need to affect the lives of all 300,000+ DoD civilian employees. Some categories I can understand, such as DCIPS and senior leaders. However, I don't believe that politics played fair to the rest of the logisticians, administrative types, technicians, clerical folks, and blue collar workers that make up the bulk of the DoD workforce. Too bad the general population couldn't weigh in on this...
