9901.601-611 I am a Viet Nam era veteran. These new rules taking away veterans preference especially now with a war going on is inconceivable. Not only is that unacceptable, it leaves the door wide open for all types of discrimination including age. People joined the government for job security. Everyone should be expected to perform, but to loose a job over circumstances beyond your control is not just. This proposed NSPS needs a complete overhaul. Thinking of all the adverse affects this new system will cause needs to be addressed.
