I don't like any part of this proposal. It will hurt the workforce, and ultimately hurt the soldiers in the field. My husband and son are both veterans, and the Rock Island Arsenal worked then to provide for them, and nothing should be done now to hurt our current and future soldiers in the field. Federal employees deserve to be treated better than this proposal intends to do. It goes above the law that Congress passed, and someone should look at that and have this proposal withdrawn. If federal employees get lower pay, it will hurt the entire community.
