Comments:
I have worked for DOD for 29 years. I get a new supervisor every 2-3 years. They know "very little" concerning civilian employees. Our civilian personnel office is in a completely different state FAR from my office. I have never seen a QSI be awarded to any of our civilian employees. Our supervisors are supposed to write quarterly awards on the civilian employees but that is not their "main focus" of the job so it rarely gets done. Our yearly performance eval is usually a five minute job that sometimes I have had to write! This job is very stressful and our supervisors are not concerned about our civilian careers. I am very afraid of what this new system is going to do to us.
