From my understanding with this new program we will not be getting our yearly cost of living increases. If so how would it be justified when insurance and other programs we pay for go up a certain percent, but our pay stays the same. That is like taking a pay cut and if we went to many years with out any cost of living increases, our net income would greatly drop. Also the cost of living helps keep our pay competitive with city, state, county and private company pay. I see were there are a few issues with this program, but then nothing is perfect, however please consider leaving our cost of living increases in place with this new program.
