5 ctr chapter xcix and part 9901 The system is going to be unfair. You may have two employees doing the same work, but because of being good buddies with the boss and kiss up to them. they will get the better pay raise than the employee who goes out of their way to do a better job. There is going to be a lot of discrimitation going on. people of other nationalities will get more preference than one that are actually citizens of the United States. The system that we have currently is not borken. These people in the Petegon have not been out with the people so that really don't know what is truely going on. Some one sold them a bill of goods, so they think it will work. Have they really looked into what will happen? The need to save money, maybe they need to start and look at their own staff and salary before they start changing things that they don't really know about. It is going to cause "the good old boy syndrome" Where if you are not in good with the boss, you will not get any pay raises and be able to move to other jobs to increase you knowledge. There will be a lot of favoritism. In other words if the system is not broke, why break it. I disagree that the union or any type of grivences the employee will be able to do. This new system will make all of that go away. It will be easier of the supervisor to fire you if you do not agree with what they give you in the apprisal or other things with being no help from the union. Like I said if it is not broke why break the system.
