My mother works at the Rock Island Arsenal, and I know this ridiculous proposal will hurt her and all the employees who work there. The Arsenal employees work hard and are dedicated to working for the soldiers, and they all feel this proposal will hurt their careers and hurt the soldiers. Why the Dept. of Defense would want to do this to their employees is hard to understand. Who does Rumsfeld think he is to ruin all federal employees lives by taking away their rights and job security? It's wrong, and should be trashed. Leave them alone and let them do their jobs, just like they've been doing.
