Only notified of this 15 Mar 05. Not much time to comment. Already our rights and seniority have been erroded by active duty military writing jobs for themselves before they retire only to come back a week later as a GS employee because they were named requested and are friends of someone. There is no longer any where to advance to and this new system will only give them more opportunity to set themselves up. Then they are allowed to collect Social Security and retirement. I have 25 years in and feel this is a ploy to get rid off the number of civil servants ready to retire in the next 10 years. If they fire you, you don't get to collect retirement. I have gone back to school worked many works of free overtime and have sat in the same job for 20 years, why because all of the jobs for advancement are taken by retiring military personnel. I only wish Rumsfield and congress could be held to the same standard as us. I don't believe anyone cares about us because they are too busy taking care of themselves and lining their pockets.
