It appears there is much uncertainty regarding NSPS. I have grave concerns with the funding for pay under this new program. With the current system, our pay is not determined by a manager or supervisor. Exceptional or outstanding performance can now be rewarded by additional pay or leave awards. Since there is so much that is unclear about NSPS, I believe it should not be implemented at this time. More information should be provided to the employees and more details comparing the current system to the new before a sound decision can be made. We need to ensure the right decision is made for our civil service employees.
