Comments:
I believe the new NSPS is unfair and will take away our benefits no matter what the documents say to the contrary. We should still be able to use the union and our cost of living adjustments should be not taken away. No retirement benefits should be altered to reduce annuities nor health/life insurance benefits. I further do not believe that the circumstances facing this world today in the security aspect was a factor in determining the need for a major overhaul of the CSRS. In regards to the pay bands, if you are not liked by your supervisor you will never get promoted, etc. The new NSPS is not a good "alternative" for CSRS. Need to go back to the drawing board and try again with input FIRST by employees... not by individuals who earn megabucks already and will not be affected by any of this.
