To whom it may concern (The clowns trying to implement this new no good piece of trash pay and promotion system. You who are nestled in your ivory towers and have no idea of what the working class go through to make our defense system run better than any other system in the world and work extremely hard to make you look good!!!!) Dear BOZO's I, along with thousands of other civilian emplyees who work at this Air Force installation, are extremely upset at the idea of the implemantation of this new pay banding and personnel system (all sections of the whole plan). You must think that we are all idiots. All of us are smart enough to figure out that this is no more than "a good old boy system" for advancement and pay raises. Why don't you start to think smarter like the people who set up the current system? At least they could see that a system that treats all emplyees the same is fair and not subject to the bias, single sightedness, or prejudice of a single boss evaluation pay and advancement system. You have tried to sell this to us as a system that is, "in the best interest of National Security." How could this be so? We all admit that the current system does have some flexibility problems. Most of those problems are due to the huge mess that has become of our personnel offices and the mess of red tape created by uneducated politicly movitated individuals trying to make a big name for themselves at the expense of the gereral people that they are suppose to be watching over. If you are in fact trying to make us, "like the rest of the working public," how about giving us back some of our own personal freedoms which you have so eagerly kept in check such as the right to go out on strike, or the right to run for political office while being a Government employee? Have you forgotten that working for the Govennment is a give and take situation? We are not like the rest of the outside working public. We have to operate differently because our fighting forces depend directly on what we do each and every day. That cannot be said of the general working public. We gladly come to work each day because of the current benefits that are offered as a Government employee including union representation for collective bargaining, grievances, and other basic rights, a stabilized pay and promotion system that is free from the personal bias of a supervisor or supervisory panel, health care, and pesonal leave benefits. In turn, we give up some basic political freedoms, as well as the right to strike, and the uncertainity of basic funding to keep us working each and every year. We also endure base closures and any other political bullets that are fired from our respected political leaders such as the political movement trying to implement this unfair, and unfavorable pay and promotion plan!!!!! We emphaticly request that you screw your heads on correctly and stop the implemantation of the unsavory new pay and promotion system. We also stongly urge you to look at the wisdom, and forethought of those who implemanted the current system. They did this for a good reason if you are smart enough to look at the current system in detail and do the proper research, you will see why. We greatly encourage all civilian workers to speak out against this new pay and promotion program!!! Thei new program is definitely not in the best interests of the Civilian Employees!!! A word of advise to all of you: "Do not try and fix someting that is not broken!!! You will only find that you have ruined something that was working well!!! Try and improve on what you alread have for the best interest and benefit of all!!!" Thanks!!!!!!
