Our cost of Living and within grade increases will be taken from us is such a bad thing. The cost of living will still go up and without help we will start hurting in our own life. It would be like a robot. This will also kick the mission as well as morale in the workforce. In a RIF the performance should never be placed above seniority. A persons righs should never be held back becasue of favoritism. We need to be able to grieve our ratings if they are not fair. The system is too subjective to allow for one persons opinion of someone to have that great of an impact on someone's livelihood. Premium pay should not be tampered with. You are going to have a bad work force and the mission will suffer. People will not work the extra time that is needed to perform the work. The Government has problems with the budget, the federal emplyees are always the scapegoats at our expense. It is hard to hire employees as emergency essential and most of the individuals are turning the job offers down because they do not want to deploy, with this in mind you cut the pay and it will really make it hard to get people to work for the Warfighter. The opportunities are not maximizing and the Union to contribute to the accomplishments of the mission. Instead, you are propsing to eliminate them. I do not see any reason for this change.
