Here we are, four months from kicking this off, and still no pay bands listed anywhere. How can an employee make future plans if they don't even know how much they'll be making in four months? Also, having my pay decided by someone in my own pay band? He could lower all pay for his workers, make himself look good for saving money, and earn a raise out of the savings. And denying a locality increase for poor performance? Locality increases are set by living conditions, not performance. He may have been put into that location/job/shop to cover the "flexible mission", and be living worse than his other workers (again, based on his supervisors opinion). As an ex-NCO whose first EPR as a MSGT was a "3" (average), despite the MSM from my previous base, (and ruining any future advancement), I can see the possible abuses (and "postal" conditions) being set up. I really think the only people that will profit from this new system will be the lawyers (and they know in advance how much they'll get..)
