Good afternoon to the NSPS Committee, My comment is that this proposal sure not effect those who fall under CSRS or CRSR - Offset. If you look at the amount of individuals that fall under that retirement system, we all will soon be retiring from the government. Why would you bother individuals that will be walking out the door soon. I personnally feel that after I have served in the government more that 30 years and will soon be departing why would you change my system and why should my last years be in the hands of someone who is either young enough to be my son or daughter or has no management skills. I should not leave the government because my future is in the hands of one individual and be held back any promotion because we did not see eye-to-eye on a project or my way of finishing up that task that was assigned to my hand. If you are going to implement this system, start with the ones that is just coming on board in the government. When they come on board, they are made aware of what is set before them. There are no strings attached to this syste and this is what is expected of you. I truly hope that this committee will really consider those that is under the old system or those that are planning to retire within the next year or 2. Please don't hurt those that have already pave the way for the next generation. Remember that in making this decision how many people will you hurt that have made plans for the future as well for their children and grandchildren. Once again please consider those who is about to leave.
