There is no way anyone could possibly think this would be better than the system we are under now. Our current system is not without flaws but this new system is legalizing favoritism. The authors of this new system apparently have a very idyllic view of how this new system will work. This will not reward the hardest worker or best employee for their diligent effort; however, it will foster (in some cases) a more hostile environment with little team work. From an employee standpoint most will be too busy trying to be best friends with their supervisor to do any real work and from a supervisor's standpoint some will tend to foster a competitive environment amongst team members. This is simply human nature. I urge whomever is over implementing this plan to please rethink it. I do agree that the current system needs a major overhaul but this is not it. Please give this some more thought before putting it into effect and possibly ruining careers.
