I am very disturbed by the paybanding. I believe it will simply aid those in supervision who already suffer from delusions of power. It will encourage the buddy system and enable discrimination. We are already behind the private sector on equal pay, and if this does away with cost of living raises we will simply fall lower on the pay scale. I am against pay banding, and am quite happy with the system that is now in place.
