Comments:
I am a member of AFGE. I am not an expert on personnel matters, by any means. I do know that I pay union dues to have the union represent me as a government employee. From what I understand, the union leadership is disappointed in the NSPS as it is being set up so far. I cannot help but feel that the personnel rules that the new system is getting rid of were put there for good reasons in the first place. I will not trust new rules that are implemented without the negotiated approval of the union.
