I am writing to let you know that I am apposed to this NSPS sytem. I am a 70% disabled Veteran and a African American Male. I served my country and came to work here at Hill AFB UT. Since my arrival here I have been victimized by the good ole boys system. I have been racially discriminated against and I have been discriminated against based on the fact that I am a disabled Veteran. And now you are telling me that these same individuals are now going to have a say over my pay increases. This is just a total slap in the face to me. I work hard everyday just so I can hear these people in supervision and management say that I am lazy and untrainable. I watch as they hire they're children or someone from they're Mormon church, and within a year they have been promoted pass me. Is this what I have to look forward to? You say this won't happen? Hell it is already happening and no one wants to do anything about it. I don't want you to think that this is just about a racial issue. There are people of all colors and sexes that are being discriminated against. This NSPS system just give our supervisors one more tool to hammer us with. And we as a people have no recourse. Everyone is affraid since 9-11 and keep using that terrible day as a reason why all these changes need to be made. That is false because changing the way I get my raises or the procedures that I have at hand today to defend myself against injustice within my workplace has nothing to do with National Security. If Congress and Donald Rumsfeld and everyone else that wants this implemented believe this is the best thing to do then why are they not on this system. Let us be they're supervisor's because they work for us the people of America. Let the people dictate to them what they're salary would be or how much of a pay raise they get. Why don't we do that? The answer is hell no I am not going to let those little people dictate what my income is or anything else. It truly was a sad day when America reelected this regime back into power. Because we the people will live with the ramifications of a group of people in power that are praying on the fears of America. We as Americans should not worry so much about the terrorist outside of America because the ones that are in our elected offices are more harmful to our way of life then any other group out there. And the people that suffer the most will be our Soldgers the Warfighters because of the lack of morale within our goverments belly that will fester and pop it's ugly head up when they need us the most. For if you do not believe in your leaders you will not follow them down a path that will lead you to an unsatifactory end. So I personally will continue to fight against this opression and I will insure that I give my fellow soldgers the best support I can because they deserve that much from me. Until we can get an administration in office that will work for the people not against the people.
