I am not pleased about proposed NSPS regulations which were not in agreement between Secretary of Defense Rumsfled and AFGE National President to work out. I strongly believe all DOD employee will be slipping into average poverty level and will depart their important jobs where need to defend our wonderful country. That will be hardened on all DOD employees to face the high economic crisis ( i.e. high gas prices, increased health insurance premium, increased cost of living etc..) I bet all DOD employees would file for bankrupt at unexpected time. Also all employee will lose their motivation and will increase their apathy to create huge problem in office situation. You know that there is about 80 percent of supervisor and middle management using their wonderful favortism to those employees. It will lead "civil war among worker". Most corporations use COLA to their employees including state government. It look funny to me that Dept of Defense would not give any COLA except Secretary of Defense and S.E.S. people in Dept of Defense sure get COLA while we are suffering a lot in struggling with our lousy economic. We appeal to Congress to repeal NSPS legislation law now. I believe that NSPS hurt all deaf employees very badly. That law will treat deaf employees as second class employees. Deaf employee work so hard than hearing workers because they always focus on their work to complete. That regulation will destroy all DOD employee's pride in defending our country. Please repeal that stupid regulation and we are staying with our current regulation (i.e. grade system, appraisel etc.) which made all employees being happy. I strongly believe that all managment in all DOD sites are becoming RICHER than us POOR employees. Please consider over it very serious.
