Pay banding - I do not agree with taking away our step increases and putting us into pay banding. The mere fact that the ability to gain pay raises are only at the mercy of the employees supervisor/manager. This as other issues of NSPS will promote the good ole boy system opening doors to discrimation and nepotism. Performance management could also lead to problems which take away the rights of the employee. With this system in place you may not receive a yearly incentive. It is like a you are a victim being raped and the case is hard to prove. The victim has no rights. I am extremely concerned about this NSPS and the effects that it has and will create on individuals. It was an individual in authority who came up with this system, put it out there to be voted on and now when it is about to be put into place you are asking for comments from the employees. This was done in secret and now the question is; are the comments from the employees really going to make a difference? Does it matter what we think? Are you even going to look at any of these comments?
