NSPS will hurt the employees that do a good job that are not the supervisors' friends. I feel that the NSPS will give the supervisors more power to hire their friends and relatives and get rid of the employees they don't like. I have seen so many supervisors now write job descriptions that fit only their friends in order to get them in their office. They then give them big performance awards that take away from the employees that really do a good job. In all my years working for the government I have seen so many times the best workers are not rewarded because they don't hang out with the supervisor at lunch or after work in the bars. Years ago supervisors had supervisor handbooks and used them in their day to day business making things fair. Now new supervisors don't even get training and they make their own rules and regulations. This will even get worse with the NSPS giving them more power to do the wrong thing. I see supervisors doing wrong all the time, but if one of their employees that they don't like do what they do wrong they give them lower performance ratings. I can just imagine the problems we will have under the NSPS. The stress will be unreal. The employees will be fighting all the time. We will lose everything we learned from HEARTS and Consideration of Others. Team players get more work done with good working relationships. Please reconsider. Don't give supervisors more power to hurt the good workers. We need good/fair supervisors.
