I am beside myself with worry over this new personnel system. All of the protections that I have as a federal employee will be thrown out the window, and I'll be subject to demotion, lowered pay, firing at will, etc. Why would I ever support such a proposed system? It will be a nightmare. My only hope is that it somehow dies before it is enacted. Perhaps enough lawsuits will get filed that it will get delayed indefinitely. One can only hope.
