To whom it may concern: Unfortunately, it seems that I have been in the dark when I heard about the NSPS. When I became a GS employee over a year ago, I took a $30,000 pay cut to serve my fellow veterans and active duty personnel involved in the war. I started at the bottom of the pay scale for a licensed practical nurse with 23 years experience. Now, I'm reading that (9901.361 Premium Pay) overtime pay, Sunday, holiday, and night pay and others payables are going to be deleted. That is outrageous! Not even the civilian sector would do this because you would see good worker quit and move on. This could happen to the GS, DOD...this pay is extra incentive to keep good employees in the system. I have no problems getting a pay raise base on performance. I am an excellent worker. For the propose provision which may involuntarily assign employees to overseas assignments, I think this would be a mistake. Keep civilian overseas assignments on a voluntary basis as it currently stands. I doubt anyone would consider risking their life for $15.00 an hour. I did it as a soldier, but not as a civilian. Thanks for your time.
