I have worked as a Federal employee for 31 years of which 20 straight years I received an exceptional performance rating for my hard work. In regard to the new pay system, I should not be concerned about my pay since I am considered a top performer. However, in my opinion, this is the worst system that could ever be put in place. This will be a Morale Buster and will cause much hate and discontent among the workforce. No matter how much you try to say the supervisor will be fair, those supervisors are human and will, even if subconsciously, rate their favorites the highest. I'm on my way out, having just 4 years left until I'm old enough to retire under CSRS but am concerned about those young employees still in need of making a living. This will be a great deterrant to those young people considering a career with the Federal Govenment. I think some serious reconsideration of this system is in order. I strongly oppose this system and am extremely upset with the powers that be for letting such a foolish plan even be considered, much less established. I am a Career Federal Employee of 31 years who began career at age 19. This will be a rarety under NSPS. PLEASE STOP THIS BEFORE IT RUINS FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT!!!
